Ferris Steak House
About us
Since 1940, Ferris Steak House & Tavern has been a treasured part of Cleveland's culinary landscape, renowned for its classic American menu of aged steaks, seafood, and more. Founded by Adele and Ellis Ferris, the restaurant quickly became a favorite destination for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service.
Brothers Sam and Fred Ferris were key to this enduring legacy, serving customers for over 50 years with genuine hospitality. In the 1950s, Tommy Stanton, known as ''88'', added charm with his spinet piano performances - a tradition that continues today in Rocky River.
Our award-winning restaurant remains dedicated to offering the finest steaks and chops, complemented by an inviting yet sophisticated ambiance. Whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a night out, guests enjoy a visit that keeps them coming back.
